    Fixture Coordinates via osc?

    by kyrrelys » Tue May 08, 2018 4:55 pm

    Hi!

I wonder if it’s possible to get madmapper to send fixture coordinates over osc after setting fixture locations with the led scanner?

    Sure, the addresses would be
    /surfaces/Fixture Name/uv_x
    and
    /surfaces/Fixture Name/uv_y

Doesn´t that only allow me to change the fixture location via osc? I would like to let an external device know the location of the fixture after its been set up by the led scanner.

yes, sending a float value to "/surfaces/Fixture Name/uv_x" will do the job.
In 3.5 (in beta testing at the moment), we reorganized addresses, it will be "/fixtures/Fixtures Name/input/x" & "/fixtures/Fixtures Name/input/y"
