applying a vertex noise to a selected group of quads

    by Christian63 » Fri Aug 03, 2018 6:57 pm

    Hi,

I create 2 or more quads, join the corners, Create a CUE, group them with CTRL G then EDIT and choose "vertex noise" and adjust the settings. "update from current values". The vertex is reproduced in each surface.

Would there be a solution to join them in one single surface to apply either a group mask, vertex or mesh warping ?

    Thank you.

    Christian.

What you want to do is to create a composition with multiple surfaces, and apply a transformation on this composition. To do so, I suggest using Syphon/Spout loopback:
    - create another projector at a different position in the virtual space
    - check the publish to syphon/spout option of the projector
    - make your composition in this projector
    - use the corresponding Syphon/Spout visual (in the visual list) on a quad in the output projector and apply the mesh warping / vertex noise etc. on this one

    Cheers
