The title says it all. I'm getting married in my hometown which is in the middle of nowhere. We can't find anyone to provide this service so I figured I'd do it myself. I'd like to projection map my wedding cake. It's square and I'd like to set one point forward and project on two sides with two projectors, similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLIWaNKns14

This software package came recommended to me. What I'd like to know more about is the interface. I'd like to allow guests to walk up to an Ipad and press a button and change the display to one of several effects. If I buy MadMapper for windows, could I accomplish this with an IPad through the osc protocol with an app like TouchOSC? Or, assuming MadMapper supports the appropriate network protocol, what would be the recommended way of accomplishing this?

Thanks for any help!

P.S. I would guess someone is knowledgeable about this additional topic: projectors. I'm obviously going to go purchase some projectors. Any suggestions for one's that work well with this software are welcome!

Hi there,

The idea is great. I'd go with TouchOSC + Madmapper. TouchOSC controls will give you a chance to make it an interactive performance. You may want to check the Transmedia design post about this combination (TouchOSC + Madmapper) - http://transmedia.cc/2018/03/23/touchosc-madmapper/
Hope it helps.
Cheers

Was thinking about the similar projection map myself, however have no idea how to do it either. Therefore, more of us are waiting for your suggestions and possible solutions.
