Hi,

I love madMapper but I was wondering if it was suitable for more than fews projectors, for example for 20 projectors.
Is there any way of making it as a server and dispatch it to multiple computer, each controlling fews projector ?

I thought about making multiple Spout exit but I feel it might not work.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

I tried mapping with 3 projectors. Because previously, when I was using only 2, I had places where there was almost no definition. So I created the 3D surface for each projector and then calibrated them. Last year I tried Isadora, but then decided to switch to MadMapper.

On a single PC i managed 4 projectors, and did one with 8 and used 2 pc's.
I don't know what you want to create but I triggered with OSC and it worked quite well to make everything sync.
So I guess 20 will be possible but i think you would need 5 pc's and 3 licenses. Please let us know how you fixed it.

with one datapath hardware, you could easily drive 8 projectors per graphic card.
so that's minimum 8 proj per computer.
