    Dual GPU Quadro p2000, win10

    by Chuchocaro » Wed May 29, 2019 8:49 pm

Hi, I'm building a video mapping project on a 360 wall, with 8 fullHD video projectors, so the computer I want to build can have two Quadro P2000 video cards to have the 8 video outputs with MadMapper?

    :!: :!: :!:
I would appreciate if someone can help me or that someone has experience using two video cards in windows 10

Yes it should work. Note that you shouldn't connect both cards with SLI (because only the outputs of one card are usable in this case)

We just built the same config with P4000 and have successfully run 4@4k.

One thing to note: The mosaic tool doesn't allow multiple display types, so you'll need a processor or some kind of EDID emulation if you are mixing and matching EDIDs.

Further, I'm not sure what model of P2000 you're looking at, but the displayports will be treated as one canvas via Mosaic for your best FPS. You'll need a second (non P-series) NVIDIA graphics card to drive a control display. Match the video RAM! The on-board video output won't work for that in my experience.
