    Output dimensions

    by SteveKucera » Wed Feb 17, 2021 7:19 pm

I've scanned the documentation but haven't found my answer.

WhenI ceiling mounted my projector I place it based on the output of the projector itself. Then when I use mapping software it doesn't use the entire projector output. I dont need to use the entire field but I am about 2 feet short on the sides and bottom. Is there a setting to adjust the output of madMapper or do I need to whip out the ladder and re-position my projector?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
MadMapper doesn't change the projector resulution, this must be set at system level (Windows / macOS).
MadMapper always create a windows covering the wall screen.
Maybe the default projection area of the projector with no input signal is different to the one when it has the input signal from your Windows or macOS computer with the actual resolution you specified there.
At least MadMapper output in your projector should fit the same size as Windows / macOS desktop. So you have to search outside MadMapper.
    Cheers
