Hey,

I am trying to connect LED from garage cube (1 m) with the Arten to DMX controller and my M1 Macbook

Which is the IP address for the Artnet to dmx? 002.000.000.100 ?
And which is the correct Sub net ? 255.000.000. ?

I am walking in the fog ....

LED won't light up ...

What's the IP adress of your ArtNet to DMX controller ?
You should have the same subnet mask on your computer, and a different ip but on the same subnet.
For instance
- if ArtNet node has IP 192.168.1.12 with mask 255.255.255.0, your computer should be 192.168.1.xxx (except 12 of course because if they have the same IP they can't communicate). Basically choose 192.168.1.13. And set the same mask (255.255.255.0)
- if the ArtNet node has IP 2.xxx.xxx.xxx with mask 255.0.0.0 (common ArtNet case), computer should be 2.xxx.xxx.xxx with same mask (again computer and not must have different IPs)

I changed the IP of the art net controller to
192.168.1.200
Subnet
255.255.255.0

Computer is
192.168.1.2
Subnet I can't see but I assume:
255.255.255.0


After using Unicast
The Artnet Controller appeared in the preferences.

But still after setting up a fixture I have no control or any reaction of the LEDs

I have watch many tutorials , but they alle leave out what happens if you don't
have any reaction of the LEDs.

Any idea?

The artnet controller is green for power and
red for status

so I guess there is no signal coming into the controller.

If I switch to univers 2 the LED starts flashing different colors.

But on univers 1 no output

Sorry for the late reply. I have no idea why you have this problem. The garageCube ArtNet 16 controller is configured by default to listen to ArtNet universes 0-15 for the 16 dmx outputs but maybe configuration was changed. There's a webpage for changing the universes it listens to. Have you checked that ?

sometimes you think you should send to universe 0 but the artnet box is expecting universe 1, or vice-versa.
Try to add/subtract 1 to the universe you're sending and see what happens.
