Hi, does anyone know why the audio-reactive generators Spectrum & Waveform are flat in v.5.3.2 ?

I have set up like I have done hundreds of times before in previous versions, set the audio-in to microphone in preferences and have turned up the amplitude, but still audio-reaction.

Am I missing something here? Or is this version of Mad Mapper just not audio-reactive?

Windows or macOS ?
On macOS you have to allow MadMapper to access the microphone (macOS asks on first launch of the process, if you deny access, it will remember it and you have to go to macOS preferences / Security & Privacy / Privacy / Microphone and add the MadMapper app you're using.
