Hi !
I am working on a Madmapper template file, with integrated dmx remotes, mostly to send generative content in 1920*1080 to Martin Sceptron Ledbars via the P3 Controller.
I want this to be simpler as possible, as a Media server fixture can be.
I succesfully created DMX controls for blending modes, color adjustments controls, multiple layers opacity...
But my problem now is to remote cues with dmx.
Before I was using multiples dmx channels (channel 1 = cue 1, channel 2 = cue 2 etc...) but this was very unconfortable because I needed to store every unused channel/cues to 0 except the one I wanted to trigger in my GrandMA Cue list to jump between Madmapper cue without triggering every of them.
It is also a very complexe set up to do in grand MA 2 and takes way too much parameters (4096 total parameters max in Grand Ma2 light).
So I tried to use one dmx channel for cue triggering, with adjusting the source range.
Example :
Channel 51 value 0-10 = raw 1 cue 1
Channel 51 value 11-20 = raw 1 cue 2
Channel 51 value 21-30 = raw 1 cue 3
Channel 51 value 23-40 = raw 1 cue 4
But in practice this method doesn't work properly. Cues are stacking themselves as I increase the dmx value of the channel, instead of jumping from one to another.
Is there a parameter to prevent this when using same channel with source range ?
Is there a better method to achieve what I want ?
Thanks in advance !
