I understand the idea behind the new auto-save functionality but in our business we prefer not to incur folder bloat everywhere.

It is kind of confusing and we would like to turn it off entirely.

However, even after unchecking the boxes in the preferences MM still makes a new folder in every directory when we save.

What do we need to do to fully disable this feature?

I've tested it and you're right, the folder is created even though all related-features are disabled.

That's something that will be fixed in the next update.

Overall the idea is great it's just that with MANY MM files it can introduce a lot of extraneous folders.

Specifically we have some scripts that launch files from folders and having extra folders and files in there can mess with things.
