Introduction to GLSL/ISF
We're very happy to have VIDVOX developer David Lublin and the artist Cornelius Henke on the program: as part of the MAD Conductor workshop they will provide a hands-on introduction to ISF (the Interaction Shader Format) as a way to make custom visual generators and effects for your favorite live video software such as MadMapper or as standalone visual art.

Robotino
During the 4 days, learn how to use the future timeline tool in order to control a 6-axis robotic arm equipped with 2 webcams and a light!
The result will be displayed on a circular platter to make the most of the MadMapper 6 functionalities associated with a robotic arm. The goal is to allow participants to reflect on the emblematic moments of their personal relationships, while experimenting with the use of the Mad Mapper to control the robotic arm, thus co-creating a universal narrative with the two guest artists, Ronald Dagonnier and Barbara Ferreira de Avelino!

About Mapping Festival
It's a privilege and an honor to take part in the 20th edition of a festival that saw the birth of MadMapper and which once again offers an exciting program!
The Mapping Festival aims to promote the audiovisual, technological and transdisciplinary arts on the art scene in French-speaking part of Switzerland. Held in May each year, it features exhibitions, installations, performances, conferences and workshops.
The programming is always cutting-edge yet accessible, in order to reach an ever-wider audience, both local and international. Spectators and participants are invited to discover, experiment and experience works that offer new modes of reception. With technological art, the public becomes an actor, a player and an instigator.
