I am looking into Mad mapper as a replacement SW for several current software's I have. The Madmapper program is great so I am now looking into the minimad as a way of replacing an older Lightform unit.

Can I ask why the hardware is still a Raspberry PI 2 and not 3,4 or 5. Also the price of 229Euro for this is not justified with this low level of hardware, can you explain please.

You're basically paying for software, not hardware.
What you get is a plug and play system that works out of the box with MadMapper and that allows
your clients or untrained technicians to remap corners of your projected art piece.
And it is also a DMX player.
And multiple minimads can sync together.
