    Hi,

i guess there is no shortcut ?

But if so: How do you manage the Software with an external device ?

If you can´t map the Layer or the Mix , then you need to work in Mix Mode
And the Output is controlled by looking at the projections ?

Is there any paradigma for this ?
    Thanxs

there's no shortcut for switching from input view to output preview.

I don't understand your second question.

    hi franz,

    thans for answering the question.

    The 2nd Question is?

Why can´t i use a short cut for this interface feature ?

As you know I´m not that experienced with the software. So maybe there is a reason
why it should not be touched with the keyboard.

I work since 1995 on Avid MC and it´s greate to switch inbetween views with a simple shortcut.

So why am i asking this:

If you are not projecting the output and you work on a laptop with on monitor
    the space gets small.
Switching between output and layer or mix to prepare a session would be great.

    On the other hand:
Every Element in the Software can be mapped, why layerview, output, not.

To that the last Question refereed.
Maybe there is a reason that i can´t see because i´m still blind.

    So be the light.

    thanxs

"Why can´t i use a short cut for this interface feature ? "

because there's no shortcut. We're likely to address this in the future, actually you're the first one asking.

    Hi Franz,

    thanxs for the answer.

    Great to hear this.

actually you're the first one asking.

I don´t know why but for me it feels good if i can switch views.

(And there is a lot that feels very good: especially that the App never stops running!)

It´s not that i´m thinking what could be introduced to the software that isn´t been mentioned.

Maybe it has to do with the way the AVID MC works with "preview" and "record" timeline.
