    MadMapper 1.2 Release Candidate 3

    Today we are providing a limited release of MadMapper 1.2. This RC is available to all registered users of MadMapper. Use your serial number to access the download link on the yourpace page:

    Release Notes:

    New Features:
    - Surface Masks
    Masks can now be created on quads. Quads now have a built in mask option.

    Fixes:
    - Syphon media deselected when corresponding Syphon server stops
    - Arrow keys are relative to the rotation of the surface and not the screen
    - Project files can now be moved with or without the medias
    - Drag & Drop in the input view now adds the media and selects it
    - The surface inspector is automatically shown when a surface is selected


    If you experience any problems with this release please contact us at support [at] garagecube [dot] com. Please include your system profile and a detailed description of the problem.

    Note that this verison is for testing only and is not to be used in a production environment.

    The ability to MASK quads individually just makes life so much easier !!

    The mask function will help me a lot for my next project.

    I know we were told not to but I could not resist. The masking worked great for my gig tonight. Thanks guys! Keep up the great work.

    you were told just so you can't complain if you have a crash during your show ;)

    I know. I did not intend to even use it but had this one layer with a live feed from the Kinect that had some spill because of a wall. I could have cropped in Modul8 but I had some layers underneath that would have needed cropping as well. I decided to roll the dice on an unpaid gig with 15 people in the audience. Everything worked great with my 35 layers.
