    Special Scanner

    by south888 » Fri Apr 19, 2013 12:01 am

Hi, I tried to use the special scanner with my EOS 60D, but the pop up appeared to say "Could not capture without an external display configured".
(but my projector was connected and its running.)
but also there is no option to choose the resolution of the EOS 60D. which is the drop down box next to camera's names drop down box.

so how can I scan the image by the special scanner?

    Thank you,

you need to have a projector connected and running in fullscreen, or else MadMApper won't start the scanning procedure.
you cannot choose the resolution, as the scan is dependent on your output resolution.
you can set your canon picture size to S.

I had issues using my 60D/T2i with the "Spacial" Scanner I had to make sure I was running the EOS software and some(many)times it just required a restart of the computer and it popped right up. It's a little finicky, but it does work with the 60D/T2i. I was using an Acer H5350 1280x720 I believe.
