    multiple universes

    by najrock » Wed Mar 05, 2014 6:15 pm

    Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to use an ethernet splitter to link multiple entec ode's so that I may access more than one universe...

it seems like it would work out ok but I figured I would ask here before I bought anything

    Thanks!

yes it works like a charm, it's standard network so an ethernet splitter works fine

on my last show i used madmapper with 3 different controllers connected to a gigabit switch connected to gigabit wireless access point and i was connected via wifi to the access point (normally prefer wired but it was not possible there).
but everything worked fine for me! there was also one Enttec ODE Open DMX Ethernet connected to the network
