what is the difference which is best?
I have been researching LED strips on all available avenues ( at least that I can find) and have learned that to get the mapping effects that are cool you need addressable strips... there are a couple different types it seems...
will any ws2801, ws2811 or ws2812 strip work?
is it better to get 60 or 30 leds/meter... I am assuming it is a question of power
what is cheap and what is expensive...
this seems cheap... http://www.ebay.com/itm/60-LEDs-m-1M-WS ... 0896346789
but are they crap?
really I am looking for the brightest possible individually addressable RGB LED strip... price is not as much of a concern as brightness... they will need to compete with a healthy amount of extremely bright stage lights ( 100-250 fixtures depending on venue/show... mostly sharpies and auras, some larger washes, sunstrips and magic panels... many strobes and around 17 full color lasers as well)
many of the led strips we have used in the past have become washed out the second I turned on our actual LED wall...
while i know i will not be able to compete with a real wall... there must be a "brightest and best" addressable LED strip...
right now it is really difficult for me to grasp the differences and pick a winner
thoughts?
thanks!
