I could not get the ENTTEC unit working under Mavericks. Can anyone recommend an alternative USB DMX device?

what about an artnet dmx device?
i use the Enttec ODE Open DMX Ethernet and i´m very happy with it!
maybe you need a xlr 5pin to 3pin adapter.

I forget which one I had at first, but the installation was quite convoluted. Two people in my office attempted the process with no success. This was a couple of months ago. Maybe it has improved. Hopefully the ODE will be a bit less involved.

The drivers you'll find on the enttec website are pain in the ass, but the ftdi one is quite easy, just grab your version here

Regarding the ODE, you won't need any drivers but you'll have to configure your mac network setting properly in order to have it working.

This device worked perfectly straight out of the box. Thanks!
