    Copying Surfaces output values

    by stocha » Tue Nov 25, 2014 8:09 pm

    Hello,
I am trying to use Madmapper with several inputs, basically switching between sevral syphon sources. Since each source is different, I need to have different input surfaces. But my output should always be mapped to the same shape.
The question is: Is there a way to copy an output surface and assign it to different input surfaces ?
Or how would people go around this, i.e different input shapes to same output map

Could not find anything on the board, hope that someone can help. Thanks

Use Presets .. and then switch between them .. I hope this info is enough for you to get what you are looking for.

Hi Aktion, thanks for the reply, but it does not solve my problem.

I will try to better explain with a simple example of what I am trying to do:

    - I have two inputs. Let's say a 4:3 camera and a 16:9 camera
    - I am mapping both of them onto a sofa or whatever 'slightly curved' shape on stage. I have one preset for each.
    - Every time I setup the stage the sofa and projectors will be at a slightly different position. I will warp the output of my surface accordingly.

And here is what I do not find a way to do. Once I warped for one of the presets, how can I just copy the warping to other surfaces/presets .
Is it at all possible ? Else this would be afeature request for me ;)

    Thanks
