Hi guys,

I have to build a led installation, and i want to animate led strips with an outline, like this example:

The problem is:
- How can I control each LED individually with Madlight?
- Do i need led strips in particular?

I recommend to use an addressable LED strips.
Here is an example of one: http://www.adafruit.com/products/306

I do not know if there is a DMX interface which sends the right commands to the LED strip, but if you use an Arduino in between (eg connected by artnet), it is possible to map the exactly DMX data from MadMapper to the LED strip .

Thank you. That was my first LED-Project. I hope to realize more projects in the near future.
At the moment the visual business her in Frankfurt doesn't work very well. Only promoter with really small budgets.
It's a shame.

The project looks really great! May I ask how much did it cost (approximately)?
