I am thinking about buying a sub £500 or less DSLR camera to work with mad mapper and was thinking of the camera below.

Would this be a good option? and does it matter if it is a fix lens or zoon lens?

any canon DSLR compatible with Canon SDK 2.15 will work ok.
the 100D is listed compatible on Canon website, so it should work, although I didn't test it personally.

Prefer a zoom lens to match your projection as much as possible
