Raspberry Pi OLA

hey guys
does any of you use a raspberry pi as a artnet node?
I was wondering do u use a dmx shield or a usb-dmx dongle?
I want to go like madmapper -> wifi -> pi running OLA -> dmx shield -> dmx cable -> dimmer -> LED stripe
