3D mapping with multiple projectors

Hi everyone,

I want to do a 3D mapping with an OBJ with two projectors.

What is the best way to do this?

Divide the model in two parts, one for each projector?

Cheers
Roland

No just calibrate the object twice with different points of view. From my tests, even withtout masking polygons that are lighten by two projectors it was looking perfect. It's very nice then to move the light with shadows.

Hi everybody.
I want to mapping a big sphere with 2 projectors.for example the first projector stand on the front of sphere and the second projector stand behind the sphere. how i can rotate point of view?i can't rotate my object after i fix calibrate the first projector. i must add another object to second projector or its another way to do another point of view to the second projector ???

Thanks.

mad-matt, how exactly do you create "a different point of view"?

Thanks

Hi,
You should create 2 projectors in MadMapper, and place them in different places so you can map twice the 3D Surface and do the calibration for each projector separately.
Is it clear ?
Cheers

an old thread but....

To add to mad-matt's post above - you need to add a copy of the 3D object for each projector and rotate each copy of the 3D object to match (as close as possible) each projectors view. Then do the calibration process on each 3D object to it's corresponding projector.
