    Cables for Spatial Scanning

    by paulus » Wed Aug 16, 2017 8:31 pm

    HI,

I want to set up my Canon camera for use with Spatial Scanning, but not sure how to connect it to the MacPro I'll be using. Is it a simple USB cable into the USB Port or will I need something more hi-tech?

Also wondered if this was a requirement for Spatial Mapping or whether I can get on my ladder (projector is at height) and take a snapshot as near as damn it and use it as a projector background and experiment over the top of that.

    Thanks

    Paul

use a simple but good quality USB cable, ideally with a ferrite node on one end.
No need to climb up the ladder if it is dangerous, SpaceScanning should work within a max 30 degrees angle from the projector.
