    PS3/4 controller issues

    by texicwaste13 » Mon Sep 08, 2014 3:09 pm

I am having trouble getting the PS4 controller to learn functions. It will not hold anything I try to get it to learn, it just reverts to 'y" or "x" after I tell it to learn a function and assign it to a button or arrow. also, when I go to the surfaces it does nothing. Help please? I got it into my imac through bluetooth in the system preferences, should I be using the usb to get it to learn functions and then go wireless ( bluetooth)?

I believe your analog stick is a bit jaggy, flickering a bit so prevents the auto learn to work correctly.
I guess you'll have to manually assign your controls to the wanted button.
Use the usb at first, don't forget to press Home to activate the controller.

don't use learn and use the mapping list (command - L),
then apply manually to your buttons.
