How to get sound detection to work?

    by ruvidan » Tue Sep 25, 2018 3:54 pm

Madmapper doesn't have a song function yet, so I have to play from another program. I'm on a windows PC, and I think my question is...how can I get Madmapper to recognize the song so Materials that use the audio input will be reactive to the song played.

I checked my recording settings and all I have is my microphone. How can I route my audio from one program into beatmapper?

Also is there a chance mp3 import and timeline sequencing is in the works? Thanks!

Never mind, I figured it out!

In case other PC users are wondering, there's a program called: Virtual Audio Cable. It allows you to set the output of your music software to the virtual cable and then set your main sound input to the mic. Presto!
