    Midi Controller Help On Windows

    by LGHTWGHT » Sat Nov 03, 2018 2:00 am

Hello, so I recently switched to using PC and am now running into an issue with my midi controllers. I use an Akai APC40 mk2 to control resolume, and then a livid BASE to control mad mapper. However, it was seamless and not an issue to run each midi controller to each software, but now on PC, it seem that either Madmapper or Resolume will take both controllers and the other software will not be able to access it, depending on order of software launched and hardware plugged in. How do I "Pipe" and decide which controllers go to which software?

Yes, on Windows a MIDI controller cannot be opened by multiple applications (boring). In MadMapper you can deactivate the Akai in Preferences / MIDI. In Resolume you can disable the other controller also.
