    Midi help

    by J_Wingate » Tue Dec 04, 2018 4:05 am

I am trying to connect Ableton Link to MadMapper and in following tutorials there is a step to go to the preferences in MadMapper and select MadMapper In under the Midi tab but I do not have this as an option. Of course this also means that MadMapper is not an option from within Ableton after Link is connected as well. What could cause this issue? Are there any workarounds?

Windows doesn't support virtual MIDI inputs like macOS or linux. You must install a MIDI loopback / virtual cabling software like loopMidi http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html or loopBe1: https://nerds.de/en/loopbe1.html
