Incorrect Projector Resolution on Windows 10 w/ 3.6.2

    by CaseyJScalf » Wed Dec 05, 2018 7:20 am

    Hello,

I am using some projectors in an installation. x4 Panasonic PT-D21k to be exact. I am using an Intel Haydes Canyon 8i7HVK

Their native resolution is 1920 x 1200 but I have selected in Windows Settings -> Display for each to be at 1920 x 1080.

So, I open MadMapper and each screen is only 960 x 540.

I think this is in error.

It looks fine on screen (not coarse like that resolution would lead me to believe).

Is this my fault? Is it MM's fault? Maybe an error? Something weird in Windows 10?

Thank you for any input and let me know if I should dig in and get more details for the investigation.

MadMapper actually shows 960 x 540 because of the scaling in Windows but MadMapper will render in full resolution anyway: https://www.pcworld.com/article/2953978 ... setup.html
We should handle that to show the real output resolution, that's in the todo list, but don't worry it will render full res.
