    audio lag

    by soup@LIAstudios.com » Mon Dec 17, 2018 12:57 am

Any ideas on how I can alleviate audio lag issues with madmapper? I have an installation with madmapper on a new mac mini; sound is just using the quarter inch out of the mac. The video files are Hap encoded; but I also tried h264 and the lag was the same. I also tried hardware acceleration on and off and picked the one with less lag.

I tested system outside of madmapper by playing a youtube audio sync video that seemed fine. Meaning the issue is from madmapper.

1- What do you mean by lag ? Do you mean the audio is not in sync with the video ?
2- If you activate hardware acceleration, does it switch to the AV Foundation player ? (it should be the case except for HapQ) If that's thecase, it's weird because in this case the audio is handled by the apple component, the same that is used by QuickTime player
