    Audio Input: Built-in Microphone

    by Ainess » Fri May 10, 2019 10:21 am

    Hi,
I want to use the audio analysis of the microphone of my MacBook as an input source, it worked with my old version of MM, is there a new specific process to follow?
    Thank you.

In MM, currently I only have: "Source Device: Madmapper" as a possible choice in the Control List
with the parameters defined in Preferences > Audio:
Audio Input: Apple Inc.: Micro intégré
Audio Analysis Channels: Channels 1+2 (Stereo Mix)
Audio Output: Apple Inc.: Sortie intégrée
    Sample Rate: 44100
    Buffer Size: 128 samples

I don't see any signal in the Control List > Audio > Source range, when there is a sound.

My computer Preferences > Audio are activated, and I see a signal when there is a sound.

Since MadMapper 3.6 you can choose your audio input/output device in MadMapper Preferences / Audio. Did you choose the microphone for the input ?
