    Arduino LED-Strip

    by blaQw1nd » Mon Jun 03, 2019 12:52 pm

    Hey Guys,

I am currently trying to test MadMapper if that works for my projects. So I downloaded the trial version.
I set up an LED stripe with APA102 LEDs and an Arduino nano and following the instructions.

The test of the Arduion works.
    My problem is now following:
If I want now to start with the setup of MadMapper in preferences at ArtNet I got no interface which is local host (127.0.0.1) and I think in this case I cant choose the out led device.
Or does that not work because I got the trial version?

    Any ideas for me?

    Best regards,

    Chris

You don't need to use localhost, you can choose whatever network interface. Using local loopback is just to avoid polluting a network with useless ArtNet packets. But if you just have a bunch of universes, no problem.
    Cheers!
