    4k Outputs Reading Incorrectly

    by caneron » Tue Sep 03, 2019 8:25 pm

System is reading 4x outputs at 4k. The MadMapper projector outputs read them as 1920x1080. Manually changing it to 4k in MadMapper does the trick and it looks like it's sending 4k properly, but I'm wondering why the outputs default to the wrong resolution? Is there something else going on here?

That's a display issue. The output will be in 4k anyway. It happens on Windows if your DPI scaling (screen scale factor) in Windows display settings is higher than 150%. We should modify MadMapper so it detects the physical resolution of the screen, actually MadMapper is showing the OS screen size, which depends on the DPI scaling, but the rendering will happen in the physical output resolution anyway.
That should be fixed in a coming minor update. Thanks for reporting !
