    NDI output settings

    by tim.schindler » Sat Aug 08, 2020 10:01 pm

    Hey guys,

I would like to use some Raspberry Pis with the NDI player dicaffeine.com to transport my signals from Madmapper to the projectors. This tool needs a NDI stream with a maximum of 1280 x 720 pixels, which I can adjust in the software. But furthermore I would like to limit the framerate to 25 fps, because of performance of the Raspberry Pi.

Is there or will there sometime be a chance to adjust the NDI output framerate?

Thanks for your help and best,
    Tim

    Hi,
Use MadMapper 4. You can limit the framerate in Preferences / Engine ("Force FPS")
For the resolution, just set your NDI published projector to the desired size.
Does it solve your situation ?
    Cheers

    I have a similar issue.

No matter how I change values for the Engine ("Force FPS") and the resolution of the NDI published projector the output standart of NDI is 1080p59.94.

Windows or macOS ? Which MM version ? Do you activate fullscreen on the MadMapper projector you use for NDI out ? (in this case, the resolution will be the resolution of the fullscreen display in os settings)
