MM doesnt launch.

I have a one month rental license of madmapper on a computer i dont have that much access to so I also downloaded the demo version to my other comp so i could learn it a bit better. The demo, which i downloaded a few days ago was working fine until yesterday. When i launch the program it just doesnt launch, not even the loading/welcome screen. There is no error message either. there is only the loading windows 10 blue circular cursor which shows for about 2 seconds and then nothing, cursor goes back to being an arrow and program doesnt launch. I installed, unintalled multiple times, no errors while installing. nothing. video card is a bit dated but worked fine till a few days ago. no problems with any other apps, including premiere, after effects etc. thoughts?
