Is there a way to flip things?

    by roxwindy » Sat Sep 04, 2021 7:31 pm

    Hi there,
I just got myself MadMapper recently to do some project mapping for some virtual stuff, there's a lot of stuff I'm not too sure how to do even after watching some tutorials.
Is there actually a possible way to duplicate and mirror/flip stuff? It's taking quite long to map some of the stuff I want but I wondered if I could just quickly duplicate one part and just mirror it because it's exactly symmertrical.
It's due in a few days and I would like to find out what's the fastest method that I could map everything here.

there are 4 options to flip a quad, in the surface inspector (bottom left), in the position/size/rotation box

CMD- D duplicates (with a slight offset)
CMD- C CMD-V copy and paste.

The image content used on surfaces can also be flipped ( the little F radio group in the surface inspector).

Currently there's no way to actually flip the actual geometry of surfaces, but that's a good idea ... (noted),
    although you can rotate it.
