I have noticed an issue on several of our Apple silicon machines which include M1 Max, M1 Ultra, M2 Max, M3 Ultra.
What happened is a cue is triggered and the media won’t playback, if I toggle the hardware acceleration on and off it will begin again, but eventually after cues are triggered it may happen again.
If the media does this I can also close the app reopen and it will work for a while but the behavior will eventually return.
All our media is Apple ProRes usually 4k 5k or 6k resolutions. Any ideas?

Additionally we have been unable to get our Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Mini to show up in madmapper on the last few versions on any of our machines.

On macOS by default ProRes is decoded with AVFoundation (hardware acceleration turned on). When the issue happens do you have hardware acceleration turned on ?
Could you send me (private message) a sample file that reproduces the issue ?

I asked a collegue to check your BlackMagic issue.

What version of Blackmagic Desktop Video are you using?
What version of MadMapper & macOS are you using?
