    Help with spacial scanner

    by bazarove » Sat Jul 02, 2011 3:52 pm

    Hi!

I wonder how to make the spacial scanner work?
    I have a Canon 1000D camera and a projector.

I get the message "please connect a projector to be able to capture its image".

My projector is connected via VGA adapter for the minidisplay on my Macbook Pro and the camera is connected with USB.
What do I do wrong here???

I would appreciate help here. Gonna have a long nite with some tests with
madmapper and I would love to get this Spacial Scanner working tonite...

    by bazarove » Sat Jul 02, 2011 4:17 pm

I had to change the resolution on my projector, then i managed to make Spacial scanner work...almost!

Cause where does the image go after it have been processed? I read
a post where they said it would be set as preview background?
But I don´t get an image there. Just black.

ANy help for how to get the image??

please check the newly published tutorial here (and soon on MadMapper official website)
    http://1024d.wordpress.com/2011/08/09/m ... -tutorial/

When the image is processed, MadMapper asks you for a location on your drive to save it. It is also automatically displayed as a background in your preview output.
Be sure to run MadMapper version 1.0.1 minimum as well. (Canon SDK bugfixes)
