Hello Everyone
I am new to madmapper, and I plan to buy the soft for a project with a friend which happens by the end of september (i currently own modul8). Its a projection on a house and it's prepared in advance on after effect & I will use a macbook pro. I have setup the project on the MM demo and it works pretty well but I have two questions. What is the max resolution that I can use for my project (the first draft is currently in 1024x576) and is maddmaper handling sound or do I have to process the video sound with a different application?

The max res. should depend on your graphic card.
If reading a movie , the max res. also depends on your CPU/HardDisk Speed/Chosen Codec.
I've successfully handled 4096 * 2048 pixels resolution in MadMapper.

I applied 3072 resolution and had no problems, even running a BIG quicktime file rendered from After Effects. Just remember to render your projects photo-jpeg at 85 quality.

I used H264 in 1920 and it seems to run smoothly
But I am not sure to need a big res as the projection surface is not big

I've try with success 5760*1080, with modul8 and madmapper ( photojpeg codec) .

On mac pro with ssd HD for files.
