    Brightness and Vibrance issue

    by Nightown » Fri Jan 13, 2012 5:14 am

Surfaces are brighter and more vibrant when highlighted background is checked. Can anyone explain why this is. I want my output to be as vibrant as when the highlight background color is check but without all the excess around my surface. Please advise how i can get my surfaces as bright and vibrant as when i have this box checked on. thank you in advance

When it's the first time you use a projector somebody used before you, always do a factory reset. Project a test pattern to check the colors and grayscale. Also, check the color profiles of your computer in system preferences -> display -> color. Once I prepared medias on my macbook pro to use with a specific projector and when I played the medias on a mac mini with the same projector, the colors were all f.... up… I was stupid enough to correct all my medias instead of changing the color profile of the mac mini…
