I'm going to play a sequence of precomposed fotages 1024x768 from Modul 8 to MadMapper and output via DualHead with two beamers on elements of building. So each screen will be 1024x768.

Is that right or I have to make footages of 2048x768 and set syphon out to this resolution?

The way I think is that if I use 1024x768 footage to crop part of it in MM preview and send it to map an area within one of the screens that is 1024x768 the picture should be Ok.
Am I right?

If it's the same footage on goth screens, simply send a 1024x768 image from Modul8 into MadMapper and create 2 separate quads, and map accordingly to each projector - MadMapper will see the DualHead as one large projection surface (2048x768) and you just have to drag/move/skew as necessary.

Thank you for your quick reply. Actually I'm going to make 15 qads of different shape and size on 1024x768 fotage that I composed in AE and map four of them within one screen and the rest 11 quads map within another screen. Cannot test it cuz i dont have two beamers available for tests.

Do bear in mind that using 15 quads will probably mean each individual quad is very low-res

It might be worth compositing them all onto a larger source file over SYPHON

1920x1080 will give much better results

Yes, I do. Just hoping that 1024x768 resolution would be acceptable taking into account that the real surfaces i will map quads onto are relatevely small biggest is 4x4 m and the most of them are 1,20x0,9 m. I'm not shure how my laptop can deal with sequence of Full HD clips each 2 min long. Thank you for your help. All the best to you.
