Didn't know but was pleasantly surprised to find a Syphon output from MadMapper in my trial of Millumin!
Since I wanted to keep Millumin clean, and also find their mask tool less then efficient as it is (changes size when the syphon source changes), I thought I'd give MadMapper a try.

This is the result:

If you use the Syphon Client test application do you get the same result?

Hmm, seems to be that the Syphon website is down. Got the apps from googlecode now.
The masking problem is not visible in the Simple Client, although the Simple Client isn't displaying the correct resolution from MadMapper. It does for Millumin though.

Sending an email to Philippe about the masking bug, meanwhile, is it on purpose that MadMapper is sending this res?

You can set the res size in the general output settings (the tab on the far right within the utility panel).

What size are you trying exactly so I can test this out on my end?

As you can see in the screenshot above, I tried 1920x1080. I wasn't connected to a projector/external screen yet, don't know if that makes any difference?

Just checked it and also tested it using Resolume Arena 4. The mask is not a problem but it is strange that the output is smaller than what is specified. I will look into this asap. Thanks.

I confirm : MadMapper Syphon server cannot go above 800 pixels wide.
The problem can be seen in the Simple Client app or directly in Millumin (if you didn't normalized your layer).

Apparently, above 800 pixels wide, MadMapper resize the Syphon server to 800 pixels and fix the ratio.

MadMapper's Syphon output is dependent on the viewer resolution.
Connect madmapper to a projector outputting 1280*1024, your syphon output will be the same.

This will be corrected in the next release. Changing the setting will change the Syphon output size.

Any timeframe when this release will be? Kind of need it within the next 2 weeks.
