Artnet Question

Hello,

I am testing madmapper (demo mode) to check if it fits my needs.
I have an artnet led array I used to drive through a Dmxking box or OLA daemon. Both are configured in Artnet II so I am using my own subnet (192.168...).
On the fixture DMX screen, I have Artnet Output/ Artnet not configured.
I was wondering if configuration is automatic and if my problem is due to using my subnet (vs 10.10.....) ?
Is-it possible to use DMX fixture on my subnet ?

Thanks for your help,
Regards,
Christophe.

are you confusing artnet subnets with subnet mask?

No, I am using unicast which is part of Artnet 2 I think.

Hello,

I did more investigation and the problem was coming from my universe configuration.
Now, it was working.

Christophe.

Hello,

I setup my led array (46x10 - contiguous universes) using multiple fixtures. Everything seems correct, but I have some artifacts. Randomly, some fixtures blackout for a few seconds. I attached the screen capture.

Any idea from where the problem could come from ?
