MIDI stability issue

Yessssss I'm aware that MIDI is still a hidden BETA-feature but I still need a little help from the community 
MadMapper is quitting unexpected from time to time when receiving MIDI ControlChange commands triggering items in the media bin.
It's MIDI over network, and we have more than 100 items in the bin.
The setup is not that clever. I know.
# MadMapper is version 1.4.2
# System is version 10.8.3
# Machine is a MacMini from late 2012
What's the weak link here? Please help.
