Hello everyone !

I am making a few tests using spacial scanner and a trial version of madmapper.
I'm having a problem with the settings on my Canon 5d mII. I set everything as indicated on the tutorials (1/15 , 2,8f , 100ISO) and when spacial scanner's window opens up, it automatically changes up the settings on my camera (1/30 , 4.0f). I can only set up the ISO.
Where do you think this problem comes from ?
Do you have any ideas on how to solve this ?

Are you sure you are in Manual PHOTO Mode (and not video ... ?)
I also have a 5dMII and it runs smoothly, so it shouldn't be hard to fix.

I'm not the Yannoch you're talking about, even though i do smell good !

To me it sounds like your on one of the Automatic Modes.
Why such a low f-stop? I'd want to close it down as much as possible with a slower shutter speed to remove any DOF from the lens. I think when I was doing my test I set it to an f/22 with great results.

low f-stop allows not to have too big ISO setting (== less noise)
f22 can work too depending on the lighting conditions.

Keep in mind that the settings we gave are standard settings, usefull for non-photographers who don't know how to setup their camera.
Other settings will work too, of course...
