Hi,
I've been trying to control a set of led lights with madmapper.

The lights work.

They are individually controllable with the pro-manager tool that comes from the enttec website.

I've had them running with a chamsys control interface and the artnet enttec box.

When I try to run the lights with madmapper, I enter the preferences menu, select the device, click ok, and my settings don't register. When I re-enter the settings, I see that they haven't been changed. It is the same for both dmx input and output. The settings don't set or save.

I'm running 1.4.4, and had the same problem with 1.4.2

Does the device (/dev/tty.usbserial-XXXXXXX) appears in the "MadMapper Interface" combo box when you select "DMX USB Pro" in the Protocol combo box?

No, it doesn't appear.

I'm having the same problem, no usb option appearing for me - only the art net option.

Anybody have any luck with this?

yep, first I would suggest you download the latest MM version 1.6.2, and come back to us if the problem persists.

I'm having the same problem.
DMX USB PRO MK2 is working and sending DMX (via The Pro Manager software),
but it's not visible in MM 1.62 preferences box. Modul8 does not recognize it either.

This is happening on both Mac Pro 2009 and Retina MBP

I have 4 days left to return my MK2…
Any help?

you need to install the ftdi driver for the mk2 too

I got confused with all these drivers.

I'm having the same problem.. pro-manager everything works. in mad-mapper i can not see any other option in the output other than ArtNet

i have installed both D2XX and VCP drivers to my computer. still nothing show up in mad mapper, it is the most recent update, 1.7.3,, my mac is also the most recent update.. ? it's been weeks trying to get this to work, so frustrated,

would appreciate any help

Only VCP or D2XX driver can be active at a time. There is an easy tool to switch driver: http://macdownload.informer.com/ftdidrivercontrol/
MadMapper needs "Serial FTDI" (VCP) driver
