Selecting / manipulating / moving several vertices at once

    by vert3kz » Wed Sep 11, 2013 12:29 pm

    Hey!

I was wondering how I am supposed to move more than one point at once. It works with the outer vertices but not with the one lying in the middle of the object (so it works when you rectangle select - but that's not possible somewhere in the middle of the object since you start immediatley moving the surface you are over).

Is there a fix / option / shortcut I am missing? To move each point individually involves around 10 times the work if not more ...

    Cheers!

edit: it would be also nice to scale all selected faces at once ... but I guess this is just a dream - and hopefully on the to-do-list for MM?

    Hi,

If you want to move multiple points with the rubber ban (rectangle select), you can use Cmd-Click. Of course it can be boring if you have a huge number of points, but I suppose it's not the case.

    Yes it's on our to-do-list ;-)

    Hey mad-matt!

I don't get how this would be possible. I uploaded a video to show where my problem lies: http://microfx.de/MADMAPPER/

Maybe you can either make a video like this to show or give me a detailed step-by-step how-to?

    Cheers!
