Hi,

Last Saturday I had to setup two MBP with the same MadMapper template.
One machine is an late 2012 MBP and the other one was a late 2006 MBP

On the late 2006 MBP, starting MadMapper, the GUI was fully empty.
I was not able to see the test cards or event new created quad or any surfaces ...

With MadMapper, 1.5.2 and 1.5.1 and 1.4.4

Do you already have seen this issue ?

The late 2006 MBP spec :

2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - 3Gb Ram
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with 256MB of GDDR3 SDRAM and dual-link DVI
Output resolution : 2400x600 via SwitchResX

thanks in advance

Are you sure the late 2006 MBP was running under 10.6x minimum ?
As a sidenote, the ATI X1600 only has 256MB Vram, which is really too low to run MM. Maybe that's the problem.
I don't have a X1600 at hands so I cannot test it, unfortunately.

Hi Franz,

Yes, it is on 10.6.5
I had the same doubt regarding the X1600.
The strange things are that I had already used this machine with MadMapper in the past, without any issue. But never at 2400x600..
The other strange thing, is that when loading the templates created in the other MBP, the output went true MadMapper without issue.
I could see my mapped objects as output from this machine .....
Just the GUI was not there ...

Anyway, it's not an big issue, as it was only as a replacement machine .....

Thanks

maybe at 2400*600 you were running out of VRAM ....
