Midi controls in beta - How to safe?

    by te-c » Mon Nov 25, 2013 8:06 pm

I've got a problem in MadMapper 1.6 beta. The Midifunctionality is cool, but how can I save the controls? It's only saved for a project, but if I open a new one all my controls are lost?
Any chance to save the Midi Controls in the programm and not only for one Project?

Controls to surfaces are name-dependant, so there's no point importing them.
For general controls (such as master fader...), here's a step by step:
    - do your project with your mapping (or open a previously done file)
    - delete all surfaces and fixtures and medias
    - save the file as "myTemplate_or_anyothername.mad"

now for each new project, start by loading your template file.
    (you'll have all your controls)

for me it does the trick, b/c there's no point exporting surface-dependant midi controls ...
so it is only useful for "global" controls ...
Honestly , since we're in beta, we're thinking about this problem, but we're not sure yet...
We'd rather spend time on developping other features (our todo list is ... endless)

I think it would be great if the presets could be safed.
