Beginner question: connecting Madmapper output to projector

Hi there,
I have a question that I'm sure must be very simple to answer but for some reason it is alluding me. I'm wanting to set up so that I have the output screen visible on the projector while I am working in Madmapper, in order to line my output up without having to first use a camera to take a photo from where the projector will be. But of course when I turn on the projector, it projects what I am seeing on my screen, not just the output window. The second floating screen, the output window, pops up as usual when I am working in Madmapper, but I want the projector to just see that window, not my whole screen. I've looked through MapMapper preferences and there doesn't seem to be anything to help me. I only have one screen to work with - I know dual screens would probably fix this issue.
Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question - not sure who else to ask!

I think I have it figured out now!
